I am a proud father of two, calling the vibrant city of Vancouver, BC, my home. Born and raised on the outskirts of Chinatown, my childhood was shaped by a deep sense of community. From an early age, I found purpose in giving back, dedicating over a decade to working with children and youth. I once imagined my future unfolding in the classroom as a high school math teacher or guiding young minds as a youth counselor. I wanted to make a difference—to be someone who could inspire and uplift others.
But life, as it often does, had other plans. What started as a passion project in event production soon became something much bigger. The thrill of creating experiences, bringing people together, and building something from the ground up pulled me in. Before I knew it, my path had shifted, and I found myself navigating the fast-paced world of entertainment.
Now, with events spanning across four decades—the 1990s, 2000s, 2010s, and 2020s—I’ve grown into one of the top independent event producers in Western Canada. My journey has been anything but predictable, but it has been filled with purpose, challenges, and invaluable lessons. Through it all, the foundation of my success remains rooted in the values instilled in me by my community. Looking back, I realize that my calling wasn’t just about teaching in a classroom—it was about creating moments, fostering connections, and inspiring people in a different way. And so, here I am today, grateful for every twist and turn, embracing the future with the same passion that started it all.
